Location is excellent. Right in the middle of town. Ten minutes walk to the river and the train station.
Rooms needed better cleaning. Dust in corners and bathroom needed a good clean.
Good location in the centre of town. Basic furniture but the room had all you needed in it including a small fridge, microwave and kettle. Fine for a couple and a couple with young kids but think it would be quite squashy for 4 adults.
Key code system is easy - you don't need reception facilities. Fridge, microwave and kettle are really useful. Many hotels in Finland don't even have a kettle. Turku station just up the road and if visiting for Klubi venue it is almost opposite.
There is everything you need, central location, good price, free wi-fi, kettle, hairdryer, microwave, tea, coffee, tv.
Sometimes it was very noisy, we couldn't sleep well. Some workers came at 8 A.M. to the neighbour's room and started drilling...
Central position, historical builiding (Alvar Aalto), budget-friendly
the sofa bed was damaged, ripped and had lots of stains all over..toilet was dirty...no handles on windows so we couldn`t open them..we`ve stayed at Omenahotel in Copenhagen and it was much nicer and cleaner than this one..still good value for money though...
I appreciated being able to prepare a simple snack with the kettle and microwave. (Supermarket next door). I liked the view out the window of the roof top garden. I was pleasantly surprised by the huge flat screen tv for this budget. The shower cubical had impressive air management so good that the mirror remained clear and I could feel replacement air whoshing in around my ankles under the door. The staff also were fantastic. I arrived much earlier than 12 noon check in. I had thought the hotel might have self storage lockers in line with its self service theme but it didn'T. The cleaning staff kindly offered to look after my backpack in their office, and to transfer it to my room when it had been cleaned. That enabled me to enjoy my one day in Turku and sightsee without needing to return until later that afternoon. Thankyou and I would stay again.
Recommendations to the hotel chain would be - either allow check in earlier than 12 noon or be able to store things in a self service locker if this isn't possible.
The hotel is located in the heart of the city, near a pay parking. If you stay for a night or a weekend, you are free to put the vehicle in front of the hotel. The large room is divided into two spaces: a bedroom and a dining area. Large plasma, microwave, kettle, small fridge, tea, coffee, sugar, milk, disposable cups. Except 2 beds are 2 armchairs with good mattresses. For all have instructions in Russian (with no errors). Internet.
It had everything that we needed and was close to the centre of Turku.
The room was not well cleaned, it had a very superficial clean but really was quite grubby eg around the taps in the bathroom were black with old built up dirt that was discovered when the plug was used. The sides of the bin and the walls near the bed were covered with old splashes of dirt that needed wiping off.
Good value for your money. Comfortable (we were 2 in a room that can fit up to 4 people). The fact that the hotel has no staff present may create some doubts, but everything works ok.
Not being able to leave baggage in a storage room after you checkout. We had to use the locker service in the railway station for that.
Actualy for that price, everything was very good.
Just fue words about parking places for car, thanks god, we stoped at weekend, so parking places were free, but we leave monday evening, and everywhere around hotel, we cann't find parking for free, that was ont thing that we didn't like due our visit.
very good location for stay in the city I like very much
the location , the door code instead a key , it's more convenient when there are several personns in a room
you can't enter the room before 4 o'clock, the door code doesn't work before that time.... We had to put our bagages in lockers at the railway station
not aware of any loyalty membership possibilities. Would like the option to collect points free stays if I use the chain enough.
I received my room number too late... And I had to call the online!
